As numerous eVTOL manufacturers strive to advance the final certification and operational deployment of their Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft, the critical challenge lies in minimizing risks. Safety demands no compromise, and certification offers no shortcuts—it is an indispensable process. However, the complexity of risk assessment stems from the fact that no one has previously navigated the certification landscape for such aircraft. While everyone recognizes certification will be challenging, the actual degree of difficulty remains unknown. All that remains is to give it our all.
